Broan 403001 Economy 30-Inch Under Cabinet Ducted Range Hood, White

Works great, Be Aware of its configuration
This hood works great for me though I had to modify it. I purchased this as a replacement to a much older oven hood which had its power brought in through the left hand side. This hood did not have the option to bring the power in through the left. I got around this by using a drill to create a new hole in the proper location.

Economical Range Hood
The Broan range hood is easy to install and is reasonable priced. It proves adequte lighting and air flow while cooking.

Range Hood
Received the item in perfect condition. Although simple, this range hood is a very good value for the product. I find the exhaust fan to be sufficient, and highly recommend this product if a simply, yet attractive white range hood is what you want.

Broan HCK44 Power Cord Kit on individual display card

Correct Item, little too short
The item is a installable cord for items such as a range hood. Installation is a snap. I couldn't find the cord length in any of the descriptions, so I bought it on a gamble.

It is a 3' cord. I had hoped for a 6' one, but I can make due.

Extremely handy item
This is an extremely handy item, and we were so glad to find it available. My elderly mother lives in an older home. When her Broan exhaust hood went out and had to be replaced everything on the market had to be hard-wired. This meant an electrician had to come in and a lot of expensive wiring if it could be done at all with her limited electrical resources. With this kit we were able to easily convert the new hood back to a plug-in just like her older one for just the cost of the kit and shipping, a total of $15.50--far less than hard wiring would have been. My husband has little electrical experience but was easily able to convert the cord with the instructions that came. The exhaust hood worked properly the first time we plugged it up and tried it.

Works
I bought this to fit a broan range hood for my kitchen. I had the electrician put in a plug when I redid my kitchen, thinking I would put in a microwave with a plug. I didn't end up having space and needed to put a regular range hood so this came in handy so that I could easily convert a regular broan hood and plug it in to a wall socket rather than use a regular junction box in the wall. Worked great and very easy to attach.

Type B Riccar Vacuum Cleaner Replacement Bag (12 Pack)

Great product
Been using these bags for some time now and they work great. Even though sometimes they don't get changed as soon as they should, they don't break or leak. I'm happy with the price and the quality.

Product Review
This is a very good generic bag that performs as well as the name brand, in my opinion. I appreciate the savings and would definitely purchase them again.

speedy
My item was sent to me with speed and it was exactly what I wanted and needed for my vacuum cleaner. Thank you.

George Foreman GR2080B 5-Serving Classic Plate Grill

Product meets most expectations!
My original George Foreman was made of metal and cooked more quickly. It was heavier of course. My original was a 2 servings unit and this one is a five. It weighs half what the original one did. It is plastic. Crumbs tend to fall on the counter where the top and bottom plate meet. So I started putting a plate under the back of the unit which made for an easier clean up. This unit has a starter ready light which is a nice feature. The drip pan does not move around so the liquid dropping clean up is much better. It still cooks great just a bit slower. I will continue to purchase the George Foreman grills because they make eating healthier easier. All in all if this was my first George Foreman and I would not have had a previous unit to compare it too, it would have received a five rating.

great griddle
I Love it it's a great price and grills fat free just like advertised perfect purchase would recommend it to everyone

Dirt Devil Dynamite II Compact Bagless Upright Vacuum, UD20010

This is a great product!
I wanted to write this review because there were some
negative reviews which almost caused me not to buy it, but I
bought it anyway. I decided to wait a few months (4),
though, to make sure I really liked it.

I do.

The negative comments were:

*********************

1) short cord and owners manual says don't use an extension
cord.

2) I have COPD, and somebody said emptying the canister
raised a huge cloud of dust.

3) Others stated that the exhaust was on the front of the
machine and would blow around the debris you were trying to
pick up, especially on hardwood floors.

***********************

1) This sounded weird, so I got out my calculator. A 25 foot
14 gauge extension cord added to the 19 foot cord on the
machine gives you a 44 foot cord - 88 feet of copper to
complete the circuit. This gives you - with the 7 amp motor
- a voltage drop of...

Pleasantly surprised
My father bought me this vacuum for Christmas since my old hand me down one finally died. I opened the package and was worried that it wouldn't be very strong considering it's size... WOW. I have a cat and a dog and this thing picked up every single hair in the house. I was shocked to see how much dirt had been in my carpet all this time... and more shocked that this lightweight vac picked it all up. It's great for the stairs too because it's so light. I would recommend this to everyone.

Great on pet hair
This is the best vacuum--of any size--I have ever had for cleaning up pet hair.
I have several cats and am always cleaning. Can't believe anything so small
can do such a good job!

Waring Commercial CAC34 Complete Glass Container with Blade and Lid, 40-Ounce

Works great - for a while
This is a great blender. However, I've had to replace the jar twice in two years. Both times there were problems with the assembly that spins the blades. Once it just started leaking. Another time it flew apart while blending a smoothie.

I use the unit almost every day, but a "Pro" bartop jar should be more durable than that.

Sturdy glass carafe. Identical to original equipment.
I bought this at the same time I purchased a new Waring professional blender, so I can accurately compare the replacement to the original and I find them identical. The only surprise in both the original and the replacement when compared to my old Waring model carafe is that the bottom cannot be removed for easier cleaning.

I don't consider this a serious deficiency, as the all glass carafe (except for the blade and shaft on which the blade is mounted)is relatively easy to clean, with no little rubber or plastic nooks and crannies in which food can hide and fester.

Recommended.

Broke immediately
Our original blender jar had one broken blade. We put up with a 3-blade blender for years before we finally invested in a new blender jar. We had it for a month or more before we actually used the new jar. I don't think it had even lasted 6 uses before the central screw of the assembly broke into two. We weren't doing anything unusual with it - sauces and smoothies. It's now completely useless, and past the time to return it. For the price, and supposedly "professional" quality, you'd think you'd get something that would last more than a week. Now we're out fifty bucks and still have a lousy blender.

Cuisinart CH-4DC Elite Collection 4-Cup Chopper/Grinder, Die Cast

a review of the product itself
I am a food professional and have used this many times since it is a perfect size (not too large or too small) for the little tasks that often come up at home, and I don't want to use my big machine. It has done a terrific job on everything from bread crumbs to salsa, mayonnaise, grinding nuts, pureeing onions, etc. It is easy to control and not 'over process' whatever the job is since the blade comes to a complete stop immediately. The instruction book is Cuisinart's usual competent quality. I do highly recommend it for a small size processor.

Cutting Edge (Really)
I'm one of those who agonizes over appliance purchases...I read epinions and Amazon reviews and any other specs and faqs I can find. This was not a major purchase (in terms of outlay of money), but I wanted something a)easy to assemble, b)easy to use, c)that does what it is supposed to do, and d)that is easy to clean and put away. This little unit does all that. It is just right for small jobs, and cuts quickly. There is a small learning curve -- for me, anyway -- I've had to learn when to use "pulse" as opposed to a steady "chop" to prevent ingredients from being ground too small.

But overall, a great little cook's helper!

It's not actually die cast
The "die cast" model is just silver plastic. And before you say "that's just the name of a silver-like color", let me stop you. Williams-Sonoma and Crate & Barrel sell a version of this model that is *actually* die cast. As in metal. I actually went down to their stores and saw them in person. They sell them for $60, a considerable premium over the plastic models. Calling this plastic model "die cast" is a deliberate misrepresentation of the product.

Chef's Choice Professional Meat Grinder Attachment for Kitchen Aid No.799 with 3 Grinding Plate Attachments

Better than Kitchenaid's own grinder attachement!!
I am SO glad I got this. This is an ALL METAL grinder attachment that fits any KitchenAid stand mixer. It is easy to clean, comes with two dies (medium and fine) The internal auger is aluminum - the blade is steel and the dies are steel, the attachement ring is steel and the feeder assembly and tray are steel. The plunger is sturdy plastic.

This will not crack and it does not leave gunk or shavings in your meat. You will not be disappointed. Easy to disassemble and clean - make sure you follow the manufacturer's instructions of washing, drying and then putting a light coat of canola or olive oil on the internal parts before storing.

I love this thing.

Seems like a very high quality grinder
I got my meat grinder last week and have found it to be a high quality tool for the kitchen.

I ground up some 5lbs of beef purchased on sale and found it fast and easy to clean up after.

Highly recommend!

Kitchen Aid Grinder Attachment by Chefs Choice
I used this Kitchen Aid Grinder attachment made by Chefs Choice for the first time today. I am completely happy with the speed of grinding meat, easy to assemble and clean. I like the fact that it has all metal parts except for the pusher that is heavy plastic. Everything works great!

Sienna Eco Canister Steamer

no better way to clean!
This is the only steam cleaner I've ever had so I have nothing to compare to...but I LOVE IT!!! I purchased this because I needed to clean out my rental apartment and figured with what it would cost for a professional cleaning, I could buy myself a steam cleaner and then be able to have it for personal use as well. The apt. was FILTHY! it smelled like smoke and had at least 3 years of build up on the walls, baseboards and window sills... this powered thru layers of caked on oil, dirt, hair, glue, petrified food splatters and paint splatters!! Initially, I thought I would have to paint the window sills, they are original 195o's ceramic old school tiles, with dirt caked into the recesses of the textured glaze and impossible to get completely clean. Within just a couple of swipes, the little round brush tip cleaned them so well they looked like they were BRAND NEW!! grout lines in the shower as well! It works beautifully on my hardwood floors (they are stained and lacquered) took me 20...

Sienna Steamer
For the price you can't beat this steamer. It worked great killed our bed bugs. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a home steamer for cleaning or killing bugs.

CReitz Sacramento ca

Good but releases too much water
My first steamer was a Shark and although I liked it a lot didn't last for too long. This time I decided to pay more for a better a product and after reading so many positive reviews on different websites I decided to go for the Sienna Eco Canister Steamer.

The idea of the steamer was to use it mostly on my laminate floors which worked perfect with the Shark steamer I used to have. This steamer is very powerful and does a very good job. The downside is that it releases too much water and doesn't dry right away. This is a problem for me since it could damage my laminate floors and I have them pretty much everywhere in the house.

Now I have to dry the floors after steaming them and this creates more work for me. I read somewhere that if the cloth is too wet I have to change it and I did, but still the floors don't dry. This steamer is perfect when I use it in my bathroom floors because it is tile and I don't mind waiting a few minutes until it dries but not good...

NuTone 665RP Heat-A-Ventlite 70 CFM Exhaust Fan with 1250-Watt Heater and 100-Watt Incandescent Light

Nutone combo bath fan, light and heater
a great value for so many tasks! Easy to use, plenty of air or heat or both and enough light to see fine by alone. I had one ruined by filthy tenants and by buying this unit here it was less than buying just the defective heater- I just popped out the modular components and replaced all without any ceiling or plaster work as the housing was identical- a nice quality addition. Quiet, good mist clearing, and toasty- what more could you ask? Add free shipping from Amazon and sold American!

Difficult to install in a finished bathroom
The vent in our bathroom died recently, so seeing that it was a Nutone 665, I ordered this unit, assuming it would be easy to pull the old one out and replace it with this. Unfortunately, the housing has been redesigned for the worse. The old unit did indeed slide out very easily, leaving its hanger bars in the space above the ceiling. The new unit requires you to attach the hanger bars to the housing before installing it. Furthermore, the old unit had an opening for the power to come into the unit where the connections were light, vent, and heat were made. The new unit has these connections outside the housing.

Basically, I had to cut open a larger hole in the ceiling to allow for the hanger bars and give me space to hammer them in. The grille is barely larger than the housing, so now I have an ugly space surrounding the unit in the bathroom ceiling.

If they hadn't changed the design, I could have reconnected the power, slid the unit in, and hung it on the...

well made and easy to install
We had a 25 year old version of the same heat/vent/light which was still, amazingly, working. It was a bear to get down, but once we did, the new one installed easily in the same space. It's much quieter, heats the space more quickly, and looks great -- the old one's grill had turned a murky yellow-orange and the light visor was bubbled. It's nice that we could get a similar but improved model that used the same sized hole.

Aprilaire #45 Water Panel Evaporator, 2-Pack

Works perfectly
OEM replacements for the water panel evaporator that I needed for my air conditioning system. I'll be ordering these again in the future.

does what it says
The only choice for the heater we have. Works like the original so all is good. Would purchase again as price was good and these are special order elsewhere.

All about price
If you buy Aprilaire evaporators, you shop for price. These work (as they should) so getting the best price and going with Amazon made this purchase decision.

Honeywell MM14CCS 14,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner with Remote Control - Black/Silver

Honeywell vs Whynter
We moved into an older home that has no air conditioning, high ceilings, no insulation, and louvered windows. This is in the eastern edges of LA county, in a valley, where it gets pretty hot during the summer and occasionally other times of the year (it was 103 yesterday, for instance, a record high).

When we moved here I got a Whynter 14,000 BTU Dual Hose Portable Air Conditioner with Heater (ARC-14SH) for my office, which is at one end of this ranch style home.

I'm a big fan of the Whynter. It worked fine in the heat, never quite cooling the whole room, but certainly giving a blast of cold air where I needed it. The room was at fault, so I don't blame the unit. In fact, later in the summer we moved it in the bedroom to supplement a far too small window unit. The room got downright chilly. It started cooling down and I moved the unit into our babies room, with the heater function...

Unit arrived damaged
Two problems.

1) the unit had evidently been jarred significantly during shipping, as the metal grate below the top vent had come loose and was rubbing on the main fan, causing it to sound like a blender. I removed the grate entirely and things are much quieter.

2) Be careful and measure your window before committing. The window assembly will only expand so far, and it lacked a good 18 inches of coverage on our window. Luckily I had some leftover stuff from a previously failed air conditioner and was able to hack together something that worked. The little plastic screw thing is really not sufficient - the old unit had sturdy wing nuts. Poor design here.

All that being said, the thing seems to be cooling the room well, which is the primary purpose. Too bad they couldn't avoid dropping it off of the loading dock or whatever happened.

Loud and not powerful
Unit appears well-made compared to the other junk out there. Interface is slick, and remote is somewhat useful. Three problems:

Unit is LOUD, even on lowest fan setting. It is a bit louder than most window-mounted units, and is about the same volume as those fan coil units installed in cheap motels. I have to use earplugs, and others have refused to sleep in the room with it on.

Unit works, but no way it is 14k BTUs! Cools more like a 6-8k unit. I have a 480sf bedroom and on a hot day (80's) it takes hours to cool down the room. Granted I have high ceilings though.

Remote control works to turn unit on & off, and to set timer (a neat feature although very coarsely-implemented). I have yet to reliably use it for anything else. Basically in middle of ight when you can't take the noise anymore you can shut it off without getting out of bed.

Whirlpool Whispure Tower Air Purifier- HEPA Air Cleaner, APT40010R

Well-designed, great value in a HEPA floor unit
It's been about a week since this arrived, so I've had time to evaluate it properly. The first thing to understand is this is not an 800 dollar air cleaner. I am rating and reviewing this against other units in its price range. Actually, this is the third unit in this class that I have reviewed. The other two were from Honeywell and Hoover.

I can't say any one of them is "better" than the other. I like all of them.

The Whirlpool Whispure Tower Air Purifier- HEPA Air Cleaner, APT40010R is a "room air purifier," not a whole house air purifier. However, it is a "medium room" unit. On the box, it says it will filter a 197 sq ft room up to 4.8 times per hour. I turned it on its max setting, and find that claim completely believable.

Be careful when comparing these numbers among units. Filtering 197 sq ft 4.8 times per hour isn't inferior to filtering 230 sq ft 2.2 times per hour. You'll need to look at total CFM per hour if max filtering is your concern (it...

Absolute Lifesaver - VOC + Hepa
I'd been suffering from sinus infection, itchy skin, dry eyes. So, I bought a basic air purifier. Seemed to improve my issues a bit, but not much.

Then I got the Whispure & thanks to the VOC-sensor, I knew exactly when my air was 'going bad'. Every time I'd get ready for bed, some 'volatile compound' was detected. After some trial & error, I found that the VOC-sensor would tick-up every time I made my bed. So, I changed both my detergent and my sheets every other day. Still, shortly after getting in bed, some volatile compound sent this machine into 3rd gear. Difficult to sleep knowing you're in a toxic room. Without the sensor, I'd have no way of knowing.

Frustrated, I finally ripped the sheets off of and brushed my (3-month old) mattress. ...Click-click - Whispure started working over time.

My new memory foam mattress was the problem. I had an allergic reaction to it. Turns out, the chemicals used in many new mattresses (particularly memory foam) can...

A Great Air Purifier
I'm using the Whirlpool Whispure Tower Air Purifier - HEPA Air Cleaner in my bedroom, and I find it to be an excellent product. Having it on the automatic setting is ideal as it's on the low (and quiet) speed most of the time, only occasionally sensing there needs to be the higher speed. It is also convenient to have the "sleep mode" at night so that the sound doesn't disturb one's rest. Well designed!

Oster 6058 6-Slice Digital Convection Toaster Oven, Stainless Steel

Excellent appliance for the price.
I'm giving this convection/toaster 5 stars based on it's performance at it's price range and class. You can spend 3-4 times as much on a professional countertop convection oven like the Franklin convection oven (Amazon ASIN: B000BQ0CP6) for $250 and get a better product. However, I've used both and by comparison I think you really get your money's worth with this product.

We've had ours for about a month now and use it daily. The results are amazing. I've made numerous frozen pizzas, a meatloaf, cookies, brownies, loads of toast and lots of french fries among other things. The oven performed quite well in all cases. There is definitely a little bit of a learning curve and I goofed up a few things before I figured out how to use it. I would definitely recommmend reading the directions and following many of the recommendations for rack and food placement. That is actually very important.

Some examples of "tweaks" are as follows: With brownies you need a lower...

A great toaster oven if you have no children.
I wanted a toaster oven which could toast things you can't put in a toaster (such as bread with cheese on top) as well as to have an alternative to using my large oven when cooking small portions. It also had to have the convection (fan) feature, which I find really helps to cook food faster and more evenly.

The functionality is all there: it's spacious and it toasts, bakes, convection bakes, and broils (but I use my main oven for broiling as I find it too messy to use a toaster oven). It even has a little light inside so you can check on the food. And the timer also works as a clock. It's a great value.

The downside, and my only reason for not giving this oven 5 stars, is that the outside gets extremely hot, especially the glass door. If you grasp the handle from the top (over-handed), your knuckles get burned by the top lip of the door - which is not insulated. When I spoke with a rep from Oster (kudos for having a toll-free number and a wait time of only 2...

Toast comes out like it's been sunning in St. Tropez!
First let me say that I decided on this oven because I refuse to spend a lot on another toaster oven. They don't live a long time (except for the Cuisinart), and so why spend top dollar? I love this oven. I also purchased it at Costco ($60.00). It was replacing my old, would never buy again Delonghi Toaster Oven, and a Panasonic Infrared Toaster Oven that went right back to Amazon after 3 days. The only thing that compares is the Cuisinart convection toaster oven that I had. It was THE PERFECT TOASTER OVEN, but a little too small for our needs. If you don't need a big oven, don't mess with anything else and get the Cuisinart!

Yes, it takes eons to make toast in this baby. (Way more than 6 minutes. Most often between 8-11 minutes!) It's a big oven. But, unlike the other reviewer, my toast, no matter what kind of bread, turns out perfectly golden like my bread was sitting out in St. Tropez. The rack must be in the center position and shaped like a "U" when looking at...

Sharp KB-6524PS 24-Inch Microwave Drawer Oven, Stainless

This is my FAVORITE kitchen appliance!!!
We installed Sharp model KB6524 in June 2009 during a kitchen remodel. Every appliance in our kitchen is new and this particular appliance is my favorite due to the uniqueness and convenience of this model. This microwave has exceeded our expectations in every way. One of the reasons we bought this microwave was that we needed a microwave that would fit under the countertop so our kids could reach it. It is also nice that the door slides open and I can reach down to lift out the food instead of having to reach up at face level and lift food out and down. I liked the unique concept of a drawer that pulls open instead of a door that pops open. I was a little concerned about reviews on earlier models that the auto open and close function on this microwave has a tendency to break. However, it seems that Sharp decided to manufacture this one so it closes with a button or by pushing or pulling on it to eliminate that problem. I was also concerned that it didn't have a piece in it that...

Great concept; Questionable execution
Purchased/installed this model Sharp microwave 11 months ago. Didn't want an over-the-range/hood type microwave and didn't want one sitting on the countertop. We really like the overall design, but...

We have had four service calls in less than a year. Three were when the motorized drawer open/close mechanism failed and had to be repaired. The fourth call I'll describe shortly.

This microwave does not have turntable, but does have a internal "stirrer" (can't see it; it's a perforated disk that rotates behind the inside top panel) meant to distribute the energy and provide even cooking. Despite this it still cooks unevenly. We purchased an after-market wind-up turntable (Micro-Go-Round; about $25; works fine) to use when we need to heat something evenly (vs. heating water, etc.). The fourth service call was when this "stirrer" began rubbing against the top interior of the oven. For some reason it caused a fairly significant arc, burned a hole in the top interior,...

Looks great but very prone to breaking!
I have had this microwave for 1 year now, it has broken 3 times and Sharp has been terrible about getting it fixed under the warranty. Opening / shutting the drawer is very sensitive & therefore the drawer stops working. No turntable which means you need to manually spin your food around as needed. Overly complicated directions. Too expensive for what you get!

Breville BES840XL the Infuser Espresso Machine

The Breville BES840XL vs the Breville Double Boiler: a surprising shoot-out result
Bottom line: I was expecting the Double Boiler to blow the BES840XL out of the water when it came to shot quality. That was not the case at all. While the milk texturing capability of the 840 is a pale shadow of the DB, and it lacks the multitude of convenience features of the DB, the 840 absolutely holds its own with regards to shot quality.

Full review:
I've been using the Breville Double Boiler espresso machine for nearly a year and have been very pleased with it. I was hesitant at first, but great shots and the many, many convenience features won me over. So, when the opportunity came up to compare their top of the line Double Boiler (DB) with their new machine (I'll call it the 840) I thought it wouldn't be a fair fight. Well, I was wrong.

I've never been a fan of thermoblock machines since the temperature stability is just not there. Breville seems to have solved that using two methods. First, the thermoblock is really a thermocoil -- it's a solid...

"The Infuser" vs. the "Barista Express" - Breville Espresso Comparison
If you can't decide between the two, maybe I can help. I've owned the Breville Barista Express BES860XL Machine with Grinder almost 2 years. Eleven months into my 1-year warranty, I woke up to find water all over the counter. Breville has superior customer service and replaced my leaking Barista Express within a week. Two weeks ago I woke up to the same thing with the warranty replacement. It turns out that the Barista Express has a 2 piece ThermoBLOCK heater and the gasket where the 2 pieces join together eventually leaks.

This new Infuser has a one-piece ThermoCOIL heater. Will this one last longer? Only time will tell and I will update this review if I have a leak with this model.

Where the new Infuser excels:
-- Smaller footprint, the Infuser measures slightly over 10" wide
-- Hotter espresso, 5 degrees hotter according to my thermometer
-- Quieter pump
-- Drip tray...

Amazing home espresso machine, once you get the hang of it
First and foremost, this is an absolutely fantastic home espresso machine for the price. It definitely takes some practice to learn how to get the most out of and find the sweet spot (which i've learned always differs depending on the type of beans & grinder you are using). But now after 3 months and a LOT of researching/learning/practice/more practice, I am now consistently making absolutely fantastic espresso drinks.

If you are new to the world of espresso, or have some knowledge, I wanted to write about my experience buying this machine 3 months ago knowing little to nothing about espresso, to now consistently pulling absolutely delicious espresso drinks on a daily basis with this machine. Here we go:

I waited 3 months after purchasing this unit to write a proper review, and I wanted to give a lot of information I have learned and discovered to help others looking into buying a home espresso setup. I honestly knew little to nothing about espresso before...

Kenmore 50688 Vacuum Bags Microfiltration with Closure - 10 Pack, Panasonic U-2 Vacuums.

Seem to work just fine
I've only used two of the bags so far and I have no complaints. Seem to do the job at about 3/4 the price of retail.

Great price - thin fabric?
These bags are a great deal, and I couldn't have asked for quicker delivery. Many have said these bags were an exact replacement for the bags they got at Sears--not my experience. The bags from Sears were a very thick material. These are MUCH thinner. The seller claims they are built to meet HEPA filtration requirements and to Kenmore specifications, but the fabric is clearly much thinner than the original Kenmore filter bags. I have to take the seller's word for the specs, as I have no way of testing for HEPA compliance, or to know empirically whether the thicker material traps more/smaller dust particles more effectively, but I still suspect that the thicker bags may be better, and will look for them the next time around.

No need to buy Kenmore originals
Yeah, I too originally bought replacements at Sears and hated the price, so I've been using other brands for several years now. I've bought this brand twice. I've bought other brands as well, but came back to this one as it's a 10-pk package (vs 8, 9, 21...) and offers the best per bag price. Price fluctuates, typically around the $7 range, often dropping down to $6 or under and sometimes rising to $9. Try to buy when on the low side, from a seller offering free shipping.

Never, ever a problem with these bags. For reference, my Kenmore stays in the basement, so these bags hold dead bugs, spider webs, and dog hair. LOTS of dog hair, as the dogs know it's ok to run around. (Side note: How do so many bugs get into basements when windows are never opened?) The price of a 10-pack is so low I use the vaccuum to pick up dog hair when brushing two German Shepherds, so they fill up after just a few grooms. Convenience! I never "wasted" bags like this when I bought at Sears...

Gas Range Oven Ignitor for Viking Range replacement for PB040001

Perfect fit for my Viking range
These were a perfect fit in every way for my Viking range. I didn't have to redo any connections or do any soldering, then ends were a correct match as supplied. Tips for installation on a Viking range: Remove the oven door (no tools required), and flip down the bottom kick-plate by taking out the two upper screws, one on each side, and rotating the kickplate forward. Remove the racks and hangars, then remove the "floor" of the oven (no tools required). This will allow you to get at the connectors and the ignitors. The ignitors are each held on with two screws. The left side screws can be gotten to easily with a stubby phillips screwdriver, but the right side screws are more difficult to get a screwdriver on as they are close to the center and even a short stubby scredriver is too long to avoid impacting the sheetmetal. Instead use a 90 degree ratcheting screwdriver like the Craftsman 41716 ($7) from Sears, (or similar) and it's a breeze. I had both ignitors installed start to finish...

Viking Gas Range Ignitor
I just saved myself a $250 Viking service call plus the part which would have been another $100+

I was a little concerned about ordering the ignitor as the part number wasn't the same as on the old one, but a quick call to Viking confirmed that the AR040001 is the replacement part for PB040001. And then I called another parts company to double check! This ignitor works with both older and newer Viking Gas Ranges.

As I have an older (before 2002) 46" double oven gas range, I needed to cut the female end off of one of the cables as the old ignitor had female and male ends and the new one comes with both cable ends the same. Very simple to do and I used the ceramic nuts that were provided in the box (yes, those are there for you!).

We had the lasagna in the oven in no time. In fact it took longer to unscrew everything and put it all back together then to replace the ignitor (30 minutes tops from start to finish).

You get what you pay for ...
I have purchased the Viking OEM ignitors and this replacement product. I bought the replacements to try to save some money from the cost of the OEM ignitors. It didn't work out so well. Although this replacement product is about 1/2 the price of the Viking ignitor, I will only buy the OEM ignitors in the future. The reason is simple: The replacement ignitors are of a materially lower quality than the Vikings. Specifically, if you look closely at the ignitor elements of the OEM and this replacement (even in the Amazon photos), you will see that the replacement ignitor is a barber-pole coil affair whereas the OEM is a much sturdier "pronged" design. Of the two replacement ignitors that I bought, both of them broke at the barber-pole coil immediately: One during installation and the second in shipment, even though placed in a hefty box and wrapped thoroughly in foam rubber. In short, with the replacement, the ignitor coil is flimsy and fragile. With the OEM, it is neither.

Kings Brand Red 6-Slice Toaster Oven- Toasts Bakes Broils Grills Roasts & Warming Oven

The good and the bad
Purchased this one to replace an aging toaster oven made by Oster. I bought it primarily due to its color and retro-look, as the kitchen in my home has vintage appliances and done up in a 50's diner look - needed the red! The good - the size, price, it arrived in perfect condition, and all of the controls seem to work. The bad.. it is not insulated at all and get very hot. Yes, there is a sticker on the top that warns of this, but the Oster it replaced never got so hot that to touch the outside risked burns. This burn risk is multiplied by the rack, which does not pull out very easy. The Oster had a lever/hook attachment on the door, when the door was opened the rack would slide out with it, making it easy and safe to remove the food. This one has no such mechanism, and the rack does not slide easy, so getting in there to pull it out is risky.

Little Red Toaster Oven
Just purchased this red toaster oven and have used it for a couple of weeks now. It is so cute in it's red color. It is simple but very effective with simple old fashioned dial controls. A plus is the fact it has room for 6 pieces of toast instead of 4. It's not very "techy" but that's not what I was looking for. If you want a simple but colorful and roomy toaster oven, at a very resonable price, this is the one for you.

Great toaster, but reminds me of an easy bake oven
It's RED so of course it's wonderful! So cute. Now the real stuff - it weighs about 2 pounds (not exactly sturdy,) there's no crumb tray (my only real problem,) it's a great toaster (fast, even, holds 6 pieces,) but everything seems to stick to the tray unless you coat it. Ask me again in 6 months after I see how long it lasts, but none of my prior 2 or 3 heavy, name brand toaster ovens lasted much longer than a year. So for now, it's terrific.

Black & Decker CHV7202 7.2-Volt Cordless Wet/Dry DustBuster

Worst DustBuster ever - AVOID!!!
I've owned several B&D DustBuster's in my life including the original from the early 80's. Since that time, overall design, battery performance, and suction has improved -- for the most part. They still all eventually die and therefore require replacement every few years.

Having great success with our impressively powerful 9.6V Dustbuster (model CHV9600, purchased in 2006), we picked up this 7.2V (model CHV7202) for the laundry room since it claims to be a wet/dry vac and I figured 7.2V would be close in performance to the 9.6V.

Boy was I wrong!

From Day One, the suction on this model was so poor, it couldn't even pick up tiny bits of dryer lint on the floor! Our 9.6V model could handle anything you could throw at (as long as the items fit through the opening). But this one? Not even close. To make matters worse, I mounted the charging unit on the wall only to find out that it's quite a challenge to actually "dock" the vac for charging due to it's poor...

DustBlower
All it does is take the dust from the floor and blow it straight into my eyes from the side vents in the unit. Its more of a torture to use it. It's a pain to clean out because all the debris that did manage to stay in the thing gets stuck to the foam piece in the dust bucket. Honestly a broom and pan is easier and less painfull.

Batteries die too quickly.
I think we've had ours for five months or so. The batteries are so weak now that it'll barely pick up anything. I opened up the casing and it looks like it only has one rechargable battery...about the size of a single "C" battery. This wouldn't be so bad if you could maybe order a replacement battery, but this isn't an option, so whenever this dies you have to buy a whole new one. Great marketing by B & D, but very bad for our polluted planet.

Hoover Type Z Power Drive/Dimension Upright Vacuum Cleaner Replacement Bags, Package of 3

Garbage
Product description was for genuine Hoover Bags. I received a no name brand. The first two bags split open when the vac was first turned on.
This is a bait and switch vendor.

Vacuum Bags
Perfect Seller, Faster than the Speeed of light shipping. Communication was Excellent! Thank you!!!

Allergen Filtration
We purchased these bags for the first time in May 2001. I installed a bag and thought it worked OK. (I did not throw the former bags, not Hoover bags, out.) The next time the bag needed changing the lady who cleans the house (unbeknown to us) installed the bag we had been using previously. My wife who is very sensitive to house dust recognized the difference. After a very short time my wife said she could smell the dust when the vacuum cleaner was in use. I changed the bag in our vacuum back to a Hoover bag and the probem was cured. While not very scientific, it convinced us. I have thrown the other bags away.

Additional Comment:

Because of the small particles that are trapped in the bag, I take the vacuum outside to remove the filled bag. This prevents these particles from escaping back into the air in the house.

Euro Tech ET7100 5-Quart Hot Water Urn, Stainless Steel

Works nicely
to be totally honest - we got this a few weeks ago and have used it about 3-4 times. It keeps the water nice and hot and the water stream is steady and not faltering like some other urns i've owned.design is very pretty and this holds a lot of water. All in all - if this keeps functioning like this and doesnt break within a year, i would highly recommend it.

The Best!!!!!
This is the best urn ever, heats up really fast and keeps water warm. It is also safe and easy to use!
