Oster OGB81101 1.1 Cubic Feet Microwave Oven

Great microwave, very powerful
This microwave is easy to use and has heats things up evenly and quickly. It's on the larger size but it looks nice and the control panel is simple and self explanatory. I appreciate that you can use the timer and the microwave functions at the same time.

After the first defective unit, this is a decent microwave
I probably would have given this microwave 4 stars instead of 3 if it weren't for the fact I had to send the first one back after it proved defective. I opened the box, plugged it in, but instead of the actual microwave unit turning on and cooking, the light came on, the keypad and light came on, but no motor... I called the manufacturer as suggested in the troubleshooting section and was given the advice "yeah, it's defective... take it back to the store where you bought it."

After thanking Captain Obvious, I called Amazon and, as usual, got amazing customer service. They over-nighted another unit free of charge, and sent me a label to return the first one.

That SNAFU aside, this has been a great microwave. I've had it about a month and it's a solid, good looking, easy-to-use unit. The shortcut buttons actually serve a purpose and temper the power and time to evenly heat foods like baked potatoes and pizza rather than just being a timer. The auto-defrost does a...

Microwave review
Economical price. Works well. It is being used in an office situation and is used throughout the day and is doing a good job.

Aprilaire Humidifier Drain Type InLine Strainer

Aprilaire #4004 In-Line Strainer
I did not receive the black strainer pictured, but rather the metal, bronze colored version of the strainer - which fit perfectly into the inlet water line for my Aprilaire 550. No issues so far.

ok
works just fine. removable to clean and service. much better made than the one that came with the unit I purchased

Received replacement Gold colored filter
I received a gold colored in line strainer, which is a different shape, but it does fit in our Aprilaire Humidifier 110 model (about 20 years old). It's installed, don't know how well it will work yet. The company said it was an official replacement for the black #4004 strainer shown on Amazon.

Oreck RBBULTIMATE2 Ultimate Handheld Canister Vacuum

For all that your upright ain't built for!
This vac is powerful and versatile. If you are unlike a prior reviewer and place the strap over your head so that the strap crosses your chest, you know like a normal person, then this thing carries like a champ and cannot crash to the floor, geez!. I'm 6'3" and I do not pretend it's a floor substitute. I have a bad back so I can't even pretend to kid myself. It's fabulous to carry around for all the oddball vac jobs like blinds, dusting, any area unreachable with a floor machine, behind the whatnot shelf or frig. Vac your bedding and your furniture with ease and power. There's a tool for everything, including the floor. The floor tool is there if you have a quickie job and do not want to haul out the upright...ok? The extender tube is smoothly notched every two inches so can be easily shortened or extended from 18 to 32 inches in mere seconds. The flex-tube is very sturdy & flexible, almost like a real slinky. It's great! I highly recommend this machine. IT'S NOT AN UPRIGHT...

Just what I was looking for:
Great little vacuum. I just strap it over my shoulder and go around the house vacuuming high and low. It is powerful and I don't have to drag out my big vacuum. The Oreck is a great buy and alot cheaper than a Dison! I've had so many vacuum floor sweepers and either they break or the suction is not good, no matter how many bowling balls they supposedly can hold up. The Oreck is powerful and very neat.

Would recommend!

Oreck's Canister Vac Gets A New Design But Little Improvement
Oreck's latest compact canister vacuum finally comes in a new design, which would appear to distinguish it from the awkward elongated form of the previous shoulder-strap models. Yet, I'm finding I have nearly all of the same problems with this one that I had with the older ones. I have a house cleaning business, so I can tell you that I've used both quite a bit. I'll give it credit where it's due, but that shouldn't take long.

Hindrances, annoyances and bafflements -

1. First of all, Oreck seems to be the only vacuum company still resisting the move to bagless models as standard. I suspect this may correlate somehow with the fact that their vacuum bags are incredibly expensive. If you use this vac much, plan on buying bags in bulk since they are only about as big as your fist. Also, as I said in my review of the Oreck upright XL, NEVER BUY THEM OR ANY OTHER ORECK PRODUCT FROM THE ORECK STORE UNLESS YOU HAVE TO. It's like taking your car to the dealer for...

Hoover WindTunnel Self-Prop Micron Final Filter 2 Pack (PN 40110006)

Final Filter
Wasn't like the original, but it'll do the job. The original had a rigid frame.I guess that it will still do the filtering.

Great
This was one part of 3 orders to give my vaccum a new smell (other than dog)- what a difference. Came quick and great price.

Good Filter
I received a genuine Hoover final filter (pack of 2) that is exactly what the Hoover dealer sells. The only difference is that this one is cheaper. It seems like a good deal to me.

Big Boss 700-Watt, 18,000 RPM Juicer, Black

Fresh Juice, Easy to Make and Clean Up
This juicer is a surprisingly easy to use and clean, relatively compact, handsome machine. There is enough power to juice just about any fruit or vegetable. This machine makes pulp free juice. Drinking juice made from ingredients that I choose myself is a wonderful thing - there are no mystery chemicals or additives unless I put them in myself. The only caution, fresh homemade juice shouldn't be kept for days, there is just too much opportunity for food safety issues.

Compared to our Jack LaLanne juicer (Jack LaLanne JLPJB Power Juicer Juicing Machine), the Big Boss is so much better. The Big Boss is smaller, lighter, easier to clean, quieter, and doesn't spit all over the kitchen when it runs. For the first running, I suited up with an apron, towel on the floor, cleared off the counter and thought about putting on safety glasses. No need for all that personal protective equipment, the juice goes in the...

Good Budget Juicer
The Big Boss Juicer is a good introductory model if you are just starting juicing and are feeling your way around.

Inexpensive, reasonably compact, and at just over 9 lbs, it has good weight which helps stability and makes it less likely to tip over when the motor is working hard. It has a 2- speed, 700-watt motor which is decent, just not heavy duty. (A 1200 -1500 watt unit would handle a heavier burden and would bite harder, and be likely to outlive its limited 1 year warranty). Because of the plastic housing, I must assume the gears are also plastic. The large 3-inch feeder tube reduces prep time as larger pieces can be inserted. There is no pulp regulator so you vary the amount of juiced pulp after pulverizing by adding back liquid and blending to achieve desired consistency.

Like other extractors, the Big Boss Juicer uses a fast whirling disk to cut fruit and vegetables into tiny pieces and then spins to separate juice from pulp. Once separated from the...

Great juicer
I was skeptical about whether this juicer was going to crap out on me after a month of consistent usage. But it has stood up very very well and for only around 50 dollars.

My impressions and tips:

1) A juicer is NOT a blender. I repeat, a juicer is NOT a blender. You can't make smoothies in it. It only makes juice. (NO bananas, NO ice, NO super starchy foods). (You CAN juice something then BLEND it with bananas or ice or whatever)

2) A juicer is NOT a food processor. You can't puree foods in this. It only makes juice.

3) Yes it is pretty big. It's about the size of my kitchen aid food processor.

4) Yes it is powerful. There are suction cup things that kindof hold it in place, but I just make sure to keep a hand on the machine so it doesn't fly around by accident.

5) Yes it is plastic. That doesn't bother me much because the shredder/strainer is metal.

6) Wash IMMEDIATELY. I use the little brush that came...

iRobot R3 500 Series Replacement Bristle Brushes, Pack of 3

Worth the upgrade
The new replacement Bristle Brushes are worth the cost. Roomba seems to be more effective since I've added them. I also purchased the aerovac bin which was a huge improvement. Brush cleaning can take a little longer now as Roomba will run longer between cleaning. Or, jjust clean the brushed after each run.

Don't expect a good product
Looks like some of brushes were seconds. On some brushes it looked like some of the bristles were missing near the ends . Would think about buying more of them. They shouldn't have put them in package

just as advertised

14911 Sears Kenmore Humidifier Wick Filter (4 Pack)

Get original replacement, the generic ones are junk.
These are not true Kenmore filters. The real Kenmore filters are way better. I like saving a buck as much as the next guy,and i always shop for the lowest price whenever i can,but this filter is junk. On rare occasions,it pays to get the original parts,THIS IS ONE OF THOSE TIMES. You even have to be careful when you buy these from Sears. Buy them straight from SEARS.COM , and not from the PARTS department. The generic filters don't soak up water very well, the real Kenmore filters will draw water throughout the entire filter, making them 80% more effective.

[...]

Off Brand Wick Filter for Kenmore
These "waffle cut" wicks do not wick water up well at all and thus air circulating through them does not pick up much moisture. The original Kenmore brand wicks are a little more expensive but much more effective at humidifying the air.

Great Filters
I have been buying these filters for years here on amazon (just purchased for the 3rd time) and they work great. Perfect fit, good price, prompt delivery. I recommend them, they have always worked for me.

Travelon 3 - Speed Personal Folding Fan

can't live without it
I purchased this fan recently for a trip. Since I suffer from severe hot flashes and night sweats, I could not even think of going anywhere without some sort of relief. This little fan is the best thing ever ! If you have any doubts because other reviews say it's noisy, don't worry it's only loud when on the highest setting. If you need to have it on the highest setting than who cares if it's loud you just want to cool off. It's so powerful you won't need it on that setting for long.
I love how it folds so you can set it down on a surface and continue to work while cooling down.
I'm not a fan expert but this fan does a great job for me. I don't go anywhere without it. If I had one suggestion to give , it would come with or have an option for a carrying case or bag to protect it. I use a silk jewelry bag for mine. I would hate to have it damaged because I can't live without it !

Great fan with a major problem, soon to be fixed.
This is a great handheld fan with a major flaw. The button slips to the side making the fan useless. I called the manufacture Travelon and told them the problem. They are aware of it and told me that they are re-modeling this item and it should be available by the end of May. I talked to Amazon and told them the problem. They will get in touch with Travelon and redo the Travelon Handheld 3-Speed Personal Folding Fan page indicating it is the new version. I sure hope the fix works because I want to buy at least 5 more. I live in the desert and love this little fan, it makes a perfect gift. Before it broke I was bragging about it to everyone who showed some interest. This a a fairly quiet fan and the 3 speeds are perfect and the fan fits in my purse. I gave this fan 2 stars because of the problem, but if the button problem is fixed I believe it deserves 5 stars.

perfect for those nasty hot flashes
a friend of mine had one of these & i knew i needed one also.
perfect little fan for cooling those awful hot flashes. i am
very temperature sensitive & this has helped solve the discomfort.
you can place it on a table next to you or hold it. very versatile.

Minka Aire F569-ORB 52in. Supra Ceiling Fan

I'm a fan!
Yes, I am a fan of this fan! The bronze with wooden blades is very nice looking. The fan creates a lot of airflow and is great in my bedroom. There are two lengths for the downrod. I used the minimum-lenght downrod. From the ceiling to the blades, it's about 12''. With the light installed, the fan hangs down approx. 16.5''.

I love the remote control, but I also bought the wall switch. Both the remote and the wall switch can control the light independently of the fan, and you may dim the light which is a very nice feature. But do be aware that on this model, you need to manually slide the switch on the switch cup on the fan itself to reverse the rotation of the blades. The switch pushed to the left is for summer operation, and the switch pushed to the right is for winter operation.

I did about 95% of the assembly of the fan and then hired an electrician to install (I did not have an existing mounting box). I couldn't be happier! Great product, great price. Thank...

Light is awful, then stopped working
Buyer beware. The light is not great for a living area. The bulb it ships with is not very bright, but the dome is so frosted that the light is very diffuse and almost like having no light at all. We were hoping it would replace the floor lamp we use but it doesn't put out as much light as a 75-watt bulb. We bought a 150 watt replacement bulb (the unit states it can take up to 190 watt) for something like $4 off Amazon and it worked great. Even with the overly frosted dome, the light was almost acceptable.

Until the Sunday before Christmas. The lights no longer work. The fan responds to the remote, but there's no way to get the lights on. We've tried cycling power, resetting the light kit connection, swapping out LED bulbs, changing the radio frequency, and no luck. What a disappointment. At least the fan still works ...

EDIT: The fan started working again a little after New Year's -- I updated the review to 2 stars -- then it stopped working again...

I'm a fan of this fan.
I purchased this model of fan when we lived back in Indianapolis, not via Amazon. Then we moved back to Colorado and our new house needed a ceiling fan to hang from our 17' ceiling. Instantly we chose the Minka Aire, same model we had back in Indy. I also purchased the 6' down-rod so I could drop the fan a reasonable distanced from our high ceiling.

We love this fan. At high speed, it's quiet and it doesn't wobble from the 6' down-rod. It also moves a lot of air from our 1st floor to the 2nd floor loft and bedrooms. This has really helped our AC problem of moving cold air upstairs.

The remote is very sleek and unlike other "un-named" fan manufactures, the remote will not open your neighbor's garage door at 1 a.m. Yes, I've actually had a similar problem.

For installation, it's very easy to complete unless you're climbing 17' in the air and height is not your friend.

It's a great fan at a great price. Enjoy!

Woodstock W1036 6-Inch by 10-Foot Wire Hose

Another customer with a similar negative experience.
After reading the negative review regarding length and usable state, I conclude the reviewer was not being reasonable. Unfortunately, my experience was the same. If you have used this type of product you know of the compression issue and the fact that the product in a usable state in not the full stated length. That is true of all flex hose. However, two adults could not get this stretched beyond 9' 4". And, in a usable state the item was barely over 6'. That is beyond reasonable and frankly a misrepresentation. If you buy this thinking you are receiving a length that in practical terms will net about 8' you will be out of luck.

Excellent Product
I purchased this to replace the hose that ran between my lawn tractor and the lawn vac. It's normally used for woodworking equipment, but works great for this purpose. It's good, heavy construction, but very flexible. It's a great value and I'm entirely satisfied with it.

Fall Cleanup Has Gotten Easier
We have lots of trees around our home, so when autumn arrives and leaves start to rain down on us, cleaning them up becomes an ongoing process until the trees are empty. So we bought a used Agri-Fab leaf vacuum to attach to our zero turn mower. After some modifications, it worked great except that the hose kept coming off. That's when we ordered the Woodstock see-through 10-foot wire hose at Amazon. It was half the price others wanted so we were a little concerned that it might be flimsy. It arrived quickly and seemed pretty sturdy. My husband attached it, (it was the perfect length), and it worked perfectly all through fall cleanup. Plus, the idea that you can see through the hose makes it easy to see the location of a stick or clog up. We had no clog ups so didn't have to deal with that. It worked great at half the price, and we're happy...autumn cleanup is done!

Vornado 530L Compact Whole Room Air Circulator

Not as good as previous Vornado compact fans
Is the new model 530 as good as older Vornados that established the company as a quality innovator? In this review, I compare the new 530 to two older compact models that I own. These are the excellent model 180 compact fan(infinite speed, no longer available) and the very good 510 compact (3-speed and in very short supply - watch out for merchants who substitute the current model 530 for the 510). These (and the larger, venerable model 280) have great features, quietness, quality, and durability. My comments should apply to the model 530 regardless of the color of the plastic case, since color has no bearing on performance in this product.

FEATURES
The 3-speed compact design is similar to that of the older models (note that some slightly more expensive Vornado models have infinite speed control instead of 3-speed but are otherwise the same). But the 530 has one major disadvantage that you're likely to miss in the promo copy. The fan head doesn't tilt as much as...

Powerful Compact Fan, Possible Quality Control Issues
Vornado is well known for producing quality consumer fans. My 530 moves more air than much larger box fans. It also moves air in a more controlled, concentrated fashion. This is great for moving cool air from one room to another. It is also nice for ventilating a room at night where outside noise a problem as the window need only to be open ten inches or so.

The raw power of the fan is useful for more than just circulating air through a room. It allows for an intense cool blast of directed in face during my cardio workout. It is also good for drying towels and carpeting.

Despite my continued enthusiasm for the product, I did have some problems. The first is the rather loud motor noise/vibration at lower speeds. Secondly, there was an apparent problem with the first fan I purchased. It was dropped about two feet onto padded carpeting. This caused one of the fan blades to break off. Fortunately, Bed Bath and Beyond has a no hassle return policy.

It is...

Poor Quality with high rate of failure
I made the terrible mistake of purchasing 4 of these "Vornado 530L High velocity 3-speed air circulators" from Amazon because of the glowing reviews and after doing a little research the fan looked nice in the images and I liked the idea the grill would snap off for easy cleaning. It didn't take long for me to realize I wasted a lot of money ($39.99 for each fan)... The problems started when fan 1's blade would seize up and stop turning. I would have to turn it off- unplug it then take the grill off and try spinning the blade a few times (I think thats how my grandfather started planes back in world war one ^__^) it worked about a week then finally died. The problems continued with fan 2, it started making this terrible high pitched sqeeeeal at the worst possible times like for example 3am while I'm trying to sleep. Its like having nails being dragged across a chalk board continuiously, I couldn't deal with that for long so I put it out near the garbage pick up for my pillaging...

Breadman TR2500BC Ultimate Plus 2-Pound Stainless-Steel Convection Breadmaker

Good Fortune with my Breadman 2500
After reading other reviews, I took my life in my hands and ordered the Breadman 2500. Fortunately, I have had no trouble with the machine at any of the stages. Having baked bread by hand regularly for over 40 years, I was surprised to find the Breadman texture quite acceptable. Here are a couple of tips I got from the company while trying to do the basic set up: 1. When you turn on the machine to "burn off manufacturing oils", take the bread pan out and leave the top of the machine open. This was not mentioned in the booklet. 2. When you set the cycle you want for a loaf, don't expect to see words like "white bread" - you get only the amount of time it takes to run the full cycle. Keep pressing "Select" until the arrow on the right stops where you want it. Then do the same with "Crust Control" and "Loaf Size". Then you're ready to push "Start". 3. After you have completed the entire baking, push the Reset button and hold down for 4 seconds. Do this as well if the...

Great Machine -- Great Gluten Free Bread! But add the liquid first to avoid motor burnout!
I bought this machine at Target, mainly because I was very nervous from all the negative reviews and I wanted to be able to return it easily. I safely tucked away my receipt, and started making bread. Very worried about burning out the motor or having the machine jump off the counter in an act of manic self-destruction, I researched why this happens so I could avoid the problem. I discovered two interesting things that may help with the burn out problem and hopping machine that some of the reviews mention.

1. The manual recommends when you first run the machine to do so empty to burn off the oils from the manufacturing process. You need to keep the lid OPEN, which they do not mention; this will ensure the unit does not get overly hot.

2. It is critical to always, always, add the liquid first, regardless of the instructions or whether or not it is a gluten free recipe. Adding the flour first then the liquid on top will contribute to the `hopping' and burn out...

Excellent, no problems at all, recommend it
I purchased this item with some trepidation, having read the negative reviews on Amazon.com. Recently, I learned that I have some food allergies, and I cannot purchase most bread in a grocery or bakery. I decided in favor of this model because it has the right combination of features, style, and price.

I would recommend this product. During the past two weeks, I have made various yeast and batter breads and had no problems whatsoever. I have never used a bread machine before, or baked yeast bread in an oven. I find the TR2500BC simple to use and easy to clean. My bread loaves have come out just fine.

I suspect the key to good breadmaking is to read the instruction manual a few times before you use it (particularly if you have no prior bread machine experience). As well, level measures of the ingredients and layering the ingredients as recommended by the manufacturer help.

I have been using the bread recipes in _The Allergy Self-Help Cookbook_ by...

Frigidaire 316442301 Element for Range

Perfect.
Worked just as expected on my Frigidaire range when someone stole my burners (who does that???), absolutely perfectly installed in seconds, arrived in what felt like minutes. Excellent.

It works!
Bought this for my Kenmore stove and less than half the price Sears wanted. It works great and was a great buy!

Shouldn't have passed factory inspection
There was a manufacturing flaw that left the middle ring of the element elevated above the rest of the element. This made cooking difficult since only one half of the pan was exposed to the element, while the other half sat above the element. If you buy this product, make sure you inspect it for this type of problem.

VenTech VTSPEED Variable Dial Router Fan Speed Controller for Duct and Inline Fans

Don't use this for a fan
This control works... after a fashion. I wanted it to control an inline booster fan. That is what it was sold for. When it came, I discovered it was made to control speed on a router... a completely different type of ac motor! I tried it anyway and at the lower settings the fan pulsed continually, leading me to believe the motor would self-destruct before very long. I put it up on a shelf, maybe I will need to control a router some day.

Controls fan speed but it's finicky
First of all, I read a lot of speed controller reviews where it was clear that the user had an incompatible fan. So, I want it to be known that I definitely have the right type of fan. In fact, the fan I have is a Ventech, which is the same brand as this controller. I plugged the fan in and went to "VAR" to control the speed. However, the fan just stayed off. I turned the dial and nothing happened. Then I switched to "FULL" and the fan turned on. I guess to get this to work you have to switch to "FULL" first and then to "VAR" with the knob all the way up. Then, you turn down the speed gradually. If you move the knob too quickly or change settings to quickly, the fan just shuts off. It's finicky like that, but you can get it to work.

BISSELL DeepClean Essential Full Sized Carpet Cleaner, 8852

Does a Decent Job but With Minor Annoyances
All carpet cleaning machines essentially do the same thing:

1. Wet the carpet with a cleaning solution.
2. Scrub the carpet with brushes
3. Suck the cleaning solution and dirt out of the carpet

What distinguishes a carpet cleaning machine is how easily, conveniently and thoroughly it can do those three things.

For this machine, assembly out-of-the-box requires a Phillips screwdriver and about five minutes. Most of this machine is made of plastic. From the side, it looks like a huge red and black running shoe with a handle on it. It comes with a hose and three attachments; one narrow cleaning tool with brush, one wider cleaning tool with brush and a crevice tool. They are for cleaning hard-to-reach corners and upholstery. A switch on the bottom front of the machine toggles between operating the machine upright or through the hose. All of the tools have a convenient push-button sprayer on them.

In this cleaner there is...

So - So Not that impressed
I decided to replace my old Bissell as it had stop extracting, the brushes had stopped turning... just worn out I suppose. I purchased the Bissell Deap clean. The good - well the brush was a nice change from the small individual ones in the past. Supposed to have heat which may be just a light , I couldn't tell any difference. The bad was the tank. Super small and a weird - fill this plastic bag with solution then as it is emptied the bag will collapse and be deflated by dirty captured solution ...... hmmm. The most frustrating part was there is no indicator for the tank being empty or full. It "looks" like it is still sucking up fluid when in reality the tank is empty and you are no longer applying new fluid. The final straw before I was to return it was as I set it down in the sink to empty it the tank cracked rendering it useless. I would say this is a poor design and I opted to get the ProHeat 2X Healthy Home Upright Deep Cleaner, 66Q4 which is a far better machine.

Priced right
This is the 2nd Bissel that I have owned. The first one just conked out after 2 years. In retrospect, it probably would have lasted longer if I had taken better care of it (cleaned off the rotating brush and replaced the belts) but it was good while it lasted.

The Pros of this machine:

Built in heater;
Powerful brushes that clean and fluff up the carpet giving it a nice appearance;
Comes with all the standard attachments;
Great spot cleaning tool with sprayer which is excellent for stain removal - I recommend using this, which is an excellent product with a fresh smell BISSELL 2X Deep Clean & Protect, 60 oz, 62E5A; and
The upholstery cleaning tool actually works!

Cons:
Leaves the carpet wetter than I would like (I have Berber carpet);
The attachments don't stay put in the "onboard storage"; the hose is stiff plastic and keeps falling in the...

eGear Survival Essentials Ceramic Knife Sharpener

What a pleasant suprise
Ok, so I bought this little rascal based on positive reviews for it, with the purpose of just sharpening small pocket knives and buck knives I own. However, I forget that I removed a sharpening stone from my last order for some dumb reason and was "forced" to use this little dude, on a large hunting knife and.... a twenty inch machete blade! Yes you heard that right! A Cold Steel, two handed machete, and this device rose to the occasion! With a mere four swipes, the machete was so sharp, I actually put a small slice in my thumb when check the honing (to be honest I didn't think it would do the job) I subsequently spent the remainder of the day removing a lot of annoying brush from my property (but that's another story.... see the Cold Steel two handed machete. ;) ) If you are thinking about a handy, compact sharpener for your own knives, whether its hunting knives, tac knives, pocket knives etc. I would highly recommend you pick one of these up.

Secura 4-Quart Electric Water Boiler and Warmer AirPot SWB-43G, 18/10 Stainless Steel Interior

Perfect water heater and warmer
We just had a newborn and in need a water heater so we can have access to boiled water 24/7. Those 1.5 Liter water kettles can not keep up with the workload, 4 Liter is the perfect capacity. We can not use our Zojirushi because of the chemical coatings on the interior. We do not want to take any risk, the interior has to be stainless steel, absolutely no plastic.
We are glad we purchased this water heater. The interior pot is made of stainless steel. There is a night light under the sprout turns on when the water dispense is unlocked. The light illuminates the area right under the sprout, it is so convenient for us to prepare formula in the night without turning on all the lights. The night light also tells you approximately where the water will be dispensed at.
The other feature I really like is the 3D dispense button. The dispense button is big with chrome finish. My old zojirushi dispense button is one layer of PVC plastic that close to wearing out after a few years. The...

Many features for a very good price; hot water all day
My previous hot water pot suddenly gave up the ghost; its pump simply died. That was annoying, it would heat up just fine, but no way to dispense the water save ladling it out with a soup ladle. We did get about five years of constant use but I was not going to buy the same brand. After a lot of research, I could find complaints on any brand but this one seemed to have a lot of features and no bad reviews (so far.) I got the stainless and white model; it also has a black version.

First, this has a lot more features than my previous model the Sunpentown 3 Litre Hot Pot. This model has a choice of temperatures (from 208 to 194 to 175F.) There is a dispensing lock. When unlocked, an orange light is lit and not only is the light indicating you can dispense water, but it lights up underneath as well. I noticed when I was filling my teapot, it made it easier to see the water level in the pot.

Works great and saves energy
This is an amazing water boiler, my old boiler is still working but the Teflon coating on the inner pot starts to come off. May be I did not clean the pot as often as should. I got this boiler with stainless steel, hopefully I do not have to worry about the issues with coatings. So far it has been great, I like the thermostat settings. It boils water to 212 degree and keeps boiling for a few minutes to kills all the germs and softens water. And you can choose to keep warm at 208, 194, 175 degree, and you can set it to auto cool which does not use electric to keep warm. BISSELL Trilogy Pet Bagless Upright Vacuum, Majestic Blue, 81M91

This TRULY has better performance than my Dyson!
Of all 3 vacuums I currently own, the Bissell Trilogy Bagless is BY FAR the best performing unit. I am comparing it to both my Dyson Root 8 Cyclone and my lower end Dirt Devil Power Reach Pet. (surprisingly, the Dirt Devil power reach vac at under $100 bucks was my "go to" vacuum as it just worked better than the Dyson overall)

SO is this Bissell as good as the much more expensive Dyson? Can it really stand up? Being the sole cleaner in my household I am going to give you my honest appraisal so please read on!

First of all, the Bissell's sheer suction power visibly removes more dirt and debris with much less work. The Dyson requires going over and over a section as much as 3 or 4 times to do what the Bissell will accomplish in 1 or two passes at the very most. This is quite impressive considering the Dyson costs more than 3 times the price of this Bissell Trilogy. Getting rid of the dirt is very simple with their "easy empty" dirt cup. Parts come off and snap...

I really love this vacuum
I ordered this vacuum from a reward site that we have at work after my old vacuum died. I had previously owned a bissell in our old house that we rented and it worked fine for the size but when we bought our new home it just couldn't keep up with more than double the square footage of the house. I have 3 dogs, 2 of which are heavy shedders and this picks up the hair from everywhere. When I finally got this vacuum, my old one had been dead for about a month so my carpet was in desperate need of some TLC and this was just the thing. It managed to get all the hair up without hoses clogging which had been a big issue with the old vacuum. I did have to empty the container several times however this is probably mostly to do with how long it had been since the floors were done. Since then I only have to empty the container once for the larger rooms and once for all the smaller rooms combined. The attachments make it very easy to get hair off of the furniture though you have to have...

Strong, Flexible and Light
There really isn't much about this product I don't like. I have been using a Dirt Devil equivalent pet hair product that I enjoy using a lot, but there are a coupe of things that make this product just a bit superior. First there is the button that turns the brush on and off which is a must when you are dealing with a surface that will scratch. The button is right next to the power button and is easy to flip on and off. I was a little concerned because the button seemed to stop work on me after I accidentally sucked up something I shouldn't have. It seems fine now and could have something to do with the vacuum not using brushes when it is fully upright. The plus from the experience is removing the brush and the belt was pretty easy.

Fun Gadgets come with this vacuum, and not only do they work as advertised, the soft rubbery edges keeps you from damaging surfaces and the spot remover works. The nicest bonus for this model is it holds all the accessories firmly so they're not...

Ritz Professional Treated Cotton Ironing Board Cover with Drawstring Closure

This will work for what I need.
I iron twelve to fifteen articles of clothing with heavy spray starch every week which consists of my husband's dress shirts and slacks. Recently I had to replace my ironing board and bought a standard 54" x 14.5" four leg ironing board from Wal-Mart for less than $20. I purchased Wal-Mart's standard brand ironing board cover for this size ironing board for approximately $10 and it was made of poorly constructed foam backing which tore as I stretched it across the ironing board. I went to Target next and purchased their mid quality cover (made to fit boards up to 54") for approximately $14, and I was impressed with it's thickness and quality backing, but it was probably sewn incorrectly at the manufacturer and would not stretch the full 54" to cover my 54" ironing board. Next I turned to Amazon.com and read through the reviews and decided to base my purchase on what I read there. I am beginning to trust the reviews on Amazon because I am agreeing with most...

Fabric sticks ...
Doesn't fit my standard board well with a Ritz pad underneath. Other than material that's very slick, all my cotton and linen shirts stick to the cover ... so much so that I have to pick the item up and physically reposition it to move to the next area to iron (rather than a tug/slide motion).

ironing board cover
This product is wonderful for easy, smooth ironing. Is better than a cotton cover. The price is very reasonable. I could not find this product in any store.

Dustless Technologies 13141 Wet Dry Micro Pre Filter Bag, 2-Pack

Love the Loveless
I initially purchased the dustless vacuum for my husband. He does carpentry & drywall and I thought this would be a good purchase for him, since he always cleans up when he is on the job. All the other wet/dry vacuums we have bought don't come close to this one and have been a waste of money.I then bought the sander attachment and the bags.Needless to say this vacuum and the bags are totally dustless and durable, the bags do not fall apart. We use the products in our shop also and the power of the vacuum is amazing. There is an accessory which we have been unable to locate for the vacuum itself, a filter which is locatated at the top of the vacuum, and also to be able to purchase additional attachments.Other wise we love the entire Loveless product line and highly recommend it.

fits Craftsman shop vac!
Snip an 1/8 " off the cardboard around the inlet and the bag will fit an ordinary Craftsman shop vac! The regular paper Craftsman shop vac bags are all but useless, they usually tear and let all the dust and dirt into the canister. These won't tear and do a great job filtering out all the dust.

Perfect bag for Love-less dustless wet/dry vac
These are the replacement bags for my Love-less ash wet/dry vac. They work perfectly and are well made. Highly recommended.

InSinkErator Cover Control Plus Evolution 3/4 HP Household Garbage Disposer

Wonderful!
Magnificent! The very quietest disposer. I have had other brand then wait until they break, which they always do, and then replace it with one of these. It grinds up everything.

does what it's supposed to
Very quiet and powerful. High quality construction. Seems to be one of the few really high quality batch feed disposers available. Installation is straightforward but you'll need to install a cord with a plug if you're connecting to an undersink outlet. Measure in advance, though, this has a relatively large and rather wide profile and may not fit your plumbing. Two minor complaints - - First, the large, heavy batch feed cover LACKS an obvious 'position' in which the cover latches in place but allows water to flow, preventing utensils from falling in. The cover seems to always want want to slip into the 'sealed' position where no water goes down . . .so it tends to get taken out of the sink altogether and set aside, meaning utensils lying in the sink can end up in the disposer easily. Second, to minimize vibration and noise, this uses a flexible rubber connector joining the waste discharge chute to your plumbing. This rubber connector is thin and held on at each end with heavy...

SPT Energy Star 3.2 cu.ft. Double Door Refrigerator in Stainless Steel

Always running
This seemed like a good mini-fridge for a 12'*16' building we had constructed near the pool, where we use it just to keep a few beers and sodas cold. The stainless steel is hard to find in this price range. Unfortunately, even with such light usage the compressor seems to run constantly; I can't remember going into the building and not hearing it. Last week I plugged it into an energy monitor device for an objective view, and sure enough it's an energy hog. Maybe it's because it's in an unshaded spot, but the structure is insulated and not hot to sit in (we have a home theater, bathroom, and shower room in this "man cave"). Will update this review as we go through autumn, just to see if the season shift changes things.

Great little fridge
Not too loud, small but can hold large drink items in door, this handsome little fridge has a real freezer, not just a cube tray in a compartment. So far, so good. They say to give it a LOT of room around it, we have less than the suggested 3-4 inches but the unit doesn't put out too much heat and it has been summertime.

So far, so good
So many of these mini fridge/freezers get mixed or poor reviews but I needed to buy one to send off to college with my son so I tried to do my " homework" to find the best/most reliable one I could for the money. The Sunpentown, though being a brand totally unfamiliar to me, actually got very good reviews on the few sites I found that included it among other mini fridge brands reviewed. I decided to take a chance based on that and on the Amazon reviews. Got it about a week ago. Arrived intact, no damage to box shipped in or to the fridge itself. Plugged it in, turned thermostat to "3" as suggested. Fridge section got cold quickly and freezer section froze ice cubes in the included mini tray pretty quickly. Its also UNBELIEVEABLY QUIET! Don't know exactly what I was expecting re: noise levels but saw reviews on other mini fridge's with comments about high level of noise.....NOT THIS ONE. It's also seemingly well insulated as once it reached its thermostat setting, the...

Dyson DC07 DC14 Post-Motor HEPA Filter Plus Gasket Seals Fits ALL Dyson DC07, DC14 models; Compare to Part # 901420-02; Designed & Engineered By Crucial Vacuum

Exactly What I Ordered
When I decided to replace the HEPA filter, I thought all I would need to do was just locate the cheapest one and order away. WRONG. After researching this filter, many sites or companies will try and sell you just the filter without the gasket; meaning you will need to salvage the old gasket (not good). This seller included the gasket at the best price. Product was excellent quality and easy to install. Will buy again from this seller.

hepa filter
It was easy to install on DC07 and probably should have been changed a few years ago. Found out that it should be changed every 4 years.

Be sure to buy the Post-Motor filter with gasket seals
I read the reviews and I'm glad that I puchased the filter with the gasket seals. I then went to utube to learn how to replace the filter which was somewhat cumbersome but definitely do-able.

iRobot Looj 330 Gutter Cleaning Robot

I was very suprised how well this worked.
I ordered The Looj 330 directly from iRobot because i wanted to give it as a Christmas gift and Amazon did not have any in stock. Since it was a gift and i was not 100% sure it would fit in my parents gutters we threw up a ladder this past weekend, not really expecting to clean the gutters, but just to see if it fits. Well the Looj fit just fine, and for giggles i sent it on its way. At first the Looj was just flipping around in the gutter because of how bad they were. The gutters were packed with mud and debris, and it had rained all day. Then my father remembered the Looj came with smaller paddles to fit on the auger. After fitting the smaller paddles the Looj made quick work of my parent's neglected gutters. Yes it made a huge mess on the deck below, but that was easily swept away. I ended up cleaning half the houses gutters in about 30 minutes.

I wasn't confident enough to let it go without watching it. Even with the smaller paddles, it got flipped on its side...

Fun to use, but don't think it saved me any time.
The iRobot Looj definitely makes gutter cleaning more fun! There is a "guy with remote" kind of satisfaction, as you stand on the ground with the remote in hand, directing the robot to go forward/backward and churn out debris from the gutter!

Unfortunately, after the initial fun factor, I realized this didn't save me any time (it may have taken longer) than just using my hands or cordless blower to clean the gutters. While the promise of only having to place the ladder once (to put the Looj into the gutter), is very appealing in concept, I found 3 major flaws that kept this concept from saving me time.

1)It requires repeat coverage
- The Looj was not able to clean any section of my gutter with only 1 pass. I basically had to move it forward a foot, then back a foot, forward a foot, back a foot ... you get the picture. Pretty much had to go over the same 1 foot length about 8 times in order to get it clear enough of debris that the Looj could move...

It's ok

CHEFS Stainless-Steel Stovetop Popcorn Kettle

Superb Popper
Stove top popcorn is the best and this popper is the best I have used. I have had two other similar poppers over the years; one was thin aluminum and did not last, the other was thin stainless steel and would burn the corn. This one is a heavy weight and made to last. I especially like the top crank and the glass lid. The others I have used had the crank in the handle and was awkward to use. They also had metal lids which meant that the progress of the popping could not be watched. It is every bit worth the price,

Best Induction Stove Popcorn Popper!
If you have an induction stove - BUY this popcorn popper! I tried for a year to get perfect popcorn out of my Induction with a variety of pans - with no luck (burned kernels, under cooked, chewy popcorn). It was the only way my new stove was lacking. Then we spent the money and bought this. For our family - which eats popcorn almost nightly - it couldn't be better. Perfect texture, nearly 100% pops. We run it on a heat setting of 7, using Orville Reddenbacher in Olive Oil - about 50% more than the instructions say.

Exactly what I hoped it would be.
This item arrived faster than expected, was in great condition, and works really well. It's sturdy and well-designed.

We've only made two batches so far, and both came out perfectly. We used sunflower oil, and store-brand organic popcorn. The popping went very quickly, there were no unpopped kernels, no scorching, no problems at all. I like having fresh hot popcorn with only ingredients that we put in. No more microwave popcorn with trans-fats, preservatives, artificial flavors and colors, etc. Also the microwave popcorn always has unpopped kernels.

A previous reviewer complained about the lid steaming up. It did steam up at first, but cleared up as the popping progressed.

My only issue is not with the popper, but with the instructions. The brochure that came with the popper says, regarding adding butter, etc., "When pan is visibly full, remove from heat and add desired flavorings by removing silicone insert and adding butter, salt, spices or...

Kitchenaid 8206230A Microwave Hood Charcoal Replacement Filter

It fits, that's all that matters.
Description says 5-1/8" x 5-3/8" but it's actually 5" x 5-3/8". Fits my Maytag over-the-stove microwave and should also fit Kitchenaid or Whirlpool because it's all the same parent company. I noticed some Whirlpool models say the size should be 5-1/8" and Maytag says 5", but it doesn't matter because the filter slot in the microwave will accommodate either size.

Works
It fit our microwave it came within the time they said it was packaged ok it looks alittle cheap so don't know how long it will last will update as needed.

Microwave hood charcoal filter
I was guessing about the filter because was installed when the microwave was installed. The size is not exactly right but it is working fine.

Seabreeze Off the Wall ThermaFlo Bathroom Heater

A good idea that still needs tweaking
If you set this heater on high it will give you way too much heat for one bathroom, unless it is a bigger than average bathroom. I initially used it in my bedroom, but again, too much heat, so I now use it on the stair landing, which is open to below and it still manages to warm-up the space without the heat concentrating too much -I don't like warm spaces, I'm just looking the tone-down the cold, and this does the job very nicely... but I've gotten the same results from heaters a lot less expensive than this.

Two things to consider: it is NOT "quiet operation". The fan is actually pretty noisy I can hear it all the way down to the kitchen, when it's on I put on music to drown the fan sound.

Secondly, unless you screw it onto the wall, it will come off just by the fan vibration, and forget trying to use a hairdryer or any other appliance using the extra outlet, the hardware to hold it in place is just too flimsy. Since I don't want it as a permanent fixture, I...

AMAZING LITTLE HEATER
This heater is really fantastic! It mounts on a wall socket in just second, and is removable just as fast. We heat a 16 X 12 three season room with just one of these heaters! They are a little noisy on high, but once the desired temperature is reached you can turn it down to a lower setting, and maintain the rooms temperature with less noise!! I would definetly recommend this heater!!

Adequate but won't stay in the wall outlet
I agree with the Jan 18, 2005 review; the heater does not stay in the wall outlet. It falls out when you turn the knob to turn it off/on or after a few seconds on (from vibrations). It was our second time purchasing this model; the first one from a couple of years ago did not have this problem.

Well made.Perfect fit and function.
Excellent filters. Better Than O.E.M.Much thicker. Worth the higher price. Still, these are made in polluted China, and they are a little sneaky saying they are "developed and designed" in the The U.S.A.The package says made in the P.R.O.C.

These filters fit well
I have a Hoover Wind Tunnel Model UH50005b - an upright model with bags. This filter is located beneath the bag and can get quite dirty. This brand of filter replacement fit my machine perfectly, and I think it may actually be a better quality than the Hoover one I replaced it with.

Perfect replacement!
I have never been able to find these in any local store and was pleased to find them here. My old one was disintegrating (my vacuum is over 10 years old) and just couldn't be washed any more. Vacuum and owner are happy campers!

NuWave 20101 Oven, Mini

Odd shape
I bought this Hearthware Home Products Nuwave Mini Infrared Oven - As Seen on TV
for my daughters birthday...I was so excited because I've wanted one for so long but the Pro family size.

So she was also excited she wanted to take out frozen chicken or frozen whatever and pop it into the oven and in how ever many minutes have a delicious cooked meal...she says that not only did it take longer to cook than the book says...but the chicken came out rubbery...

So I gave her a gift card and took the oven...today I cooked frozen pizza, bacon and a frozen sirloin burger. They did all take longer than the book stated. But they all came out tasting good..

I haven't tried frozen chicken breasts yet I will try that soon...what I don't like about the Mini oven is its oblong in shape...makes it impossible to cook any medium round items over 7.5 inches. You can't any use single size cake pans...so you're very limited on what size of items you can cook...

Love this little Gem!!
I purchased the large Nuwave pro and loved it so much I ordered the mini also. Both are fantastic! My husband laughed at me when I ordered the first one, but he was also very impressed with the way it cooked after the first meal. The mini is perfect for veggies or smaller meats. I am into cooking healthy and the amount of fat that is removed from meats is great. I think the mini will be used more than the Nuwave Pro because it is much easier to clean than the Pro is only because of the size. I was surprised at how easy the racks are to clean. No scrubbing needed, but I have found that cleaning racks on other appliances in the dishwasher damages the finish and makes them harder to clean so these won't be cleaned in the dishwasher.
The cooking times given are just a starting point. I have also found that it takes quite a bit longer to cook than the recommended times. I was aware of this from the reviews I read before I ordered them so if speed is the reason you are...

Overpriced, Flimsy Polycarbonate Dome, Temperature Max of 333 degrees.
We've been using it for 18 weeks now (8/1/11), ~ once/day. All parts are washed in a DW, maybe once a week. Cooks slower than advertised. Cooks anything from frozen (vegetables, chicken, steaks, ribs) with superb results. Five stars absolutely. Why did I rate it two stars? It's flimsy, but not inexpensive. The dome is already cracked from the base flange upwards several inches, but still under warranty, so I'll replace it. But why did it crack? It's handled with great (really) care, like a good digital camera, but it still cracked... and the dome now looks mottled and dirty even coming out of the DW. I understand why the competing Superwave is made from glass... The Superwave (which I returned) is just too big, and the NuWave Mini is just too cheap IMHO.

Soooo, we'll replace the dome and continue using it. However, if you really look at it with a dispassionate eye, you'll probably agree that it's really just an inverted electric hotplate with a fan and a digital touch...

Samsung Microwave Glass Cooking Tray - 10"

Small Tray
I bought this as a replacement for my sharp microwave. I should have looked closer at the product size information. This tray fits perfect, but is too small. I will send it back and order a larger size tray. This tray is 10'' and I needed at least a 13'' to 14'' tray. The quality is good and it did work, however it looks doll size in my microwave.

Worth the cost
This product came promply, well packaged and is very sturdy. I guessed at the measurment since this was for my son, so it's one size too small for his, but we still used it and it works great. I could have returned it, but what the heck :-) The quality was just as if it came with the micro. Just make sure to measure your old tray area before you order.

Best Price
I never knew how expensive these glass plates were until I broke one! This was the best price I was able to find, great quality and was delivered well protected to avoid getting broken. It fit perfectly in our microwave, which is a different brand.

Kenmore PUR Ultimate II Refrigerator Filter (9030)

Dusty: Makes Me Wonder...
I had the same experience as the last reviewer. The filter itself was dusty when I opened the box. It also did not contain the date stickers which are usually in the box. This made me think maybe it was used. I would have sent it back but my wife had already thrown the old one out and the fridge water won't work without it. I am going to hope it was dusty because it was sitting around for a while. The water tastes ok as far as I can tell, at least for now.

all over it. It looked used. I sent it back

KitchenAid KMT211CU 2-Slice Toaster, Countour Silver

VERY WELL MADE TOASTER
After trying and returning another manufacturer, I bought this Kitchen Aid and am extremely pleased with the quality of the materials and design. The frame of the toaster is solid and has a little weight to it, and you are able to push the two control buttons with out holding the toaster still, as I have had to do with other brands. The toasting lever has a quality motion to it, and operates very smoothly. Toast, bagels, and english muffins come out very consistently and evenly toasted, I suspect in part due to the steel lining of the deeper toasting cavity. The power cord is heavy gauge as well, complete with a 3 prong (grounded) plug. And as opposed to simply adding more time to the cycle, as other "bagel" buttons tend to do, this actually reduces power to the heating element on the uncut side of the bagel, thus it doesn't become too well done. The bottom of the toaster has 4 rubber padded "feet" so it sits securely in place, and the toaster has an overall classic but updated...

leggomyeggo
Agree with all CapeCodChef says -- grabbed one from Target for just $40, and it was much more solid and sleek than all the other flimsy, plastic-clad stuff there. The exterior metal does get hot after a bit, but the "extra lift" feature helps you avoid contact. The toaster does seem to go from underdone to burnt pretty quickly, so until you calibrate the timing for your preferred treat, you may want to hover and make a few spot checks. The evenness in toasting is impressive.

So far so good!
Looked a consumer reports and then read the Amazon reviews. Decided on the KitchenAid KMT211CU. A little longer cycle but a very good toaster with even toasting. Let's see if it lasts as long as our ten year old Krups.

Have had toaster almost 6 months. Love it with no problems

Aroma AEW-306 5-Quart Electric Wok

~~Easy to use, Quick to heat, I LOVE this Wok...and Fried Rice~~
First let me say that I normally do not cook, not only do I hate cooking but I am not good at it(I somehow mess up oatmeal)...However, this Wok heats so fast, nothing sticks and even I can make VERY TASTY food in this Wok.

My first meal was fried rice and it turned out so good, better than most Chinese Restaurants. I was surprised at how fast the Wok heated(maybe a minute) I first cooked my chicken, what a breeze that was in this Wok. Then I added all ingredients according to my recipe(found online) and in less than 10 minutes we were eating YUMMY rice. I was actually thinking it was way too easy and the rice would taste terrible but it was easy & tasted great.

I do NOT think this is too big for 2 people. I had this thing pretty full with rice and my husband and I had just enough left over for 1 meal. If this were any smaller I think there would be a problem with stirring your food and having it fall out. In my opinion this size is perfect for 2 people or...

Electric wok review
I bought this for my daughter-in-law for xmas. She was delighted with it, we opened it and tried it that day. Excellent heat control from low to high. Appears to be well-built, and can be easily dismantled to put in the Dishwasher. Came with some nice racks too. Too soon to know if it's durable or long lasting, but it sure looked that way. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that it cost a bit more than I thought it should, although it was in the middle of the range of prices for similar products on Amazon and other shopping sites. And if it turns out that it lasts 10 years, then it will have been worth it.

GREAT PRODUCT
HAPPY WITH THE SIZE AND DETACHABLE BASE FOR CLEANING--VERY HAPPY WITH PERFORMANCE--WORTH INVESTMENT OVER LESS EXPENSIVE MODELS

Nutone Replacement Bags for Central Vac

Not Genuine Nutone Bags
While the price is fair, these are generic brand bags, not genuine Nutone 391 bags. Having used the latter for many years, there is a difference. The picture is very misleading. Be warned.

Nice Price But Fraudulent Advertisement Re Maker
I bought a dozen of these bags based on their price AND THE "by Nutone" statement in the presentation of the product; but it turns out that that latter statement is FALSE! They are bags made by an unknown source. Comparing one these bags against my last, truly by Nutone, bag I find the workship and materials to be a cut below those made by Nutone. I should of bought the ones made by Filtrete, a good reliable firm and the picture in the ad shows the box re the source, as there was only a modest difference in their pricing. Amazon should read these reviews and DO SOMETHING RE FRAUDULENT PRESENTATION!!!!

NOT GENUINE NUTONE BAGS
Very disappointed that the photo shown is not what I received. The tiny label on the package says Nutone but they are clearly not genuine Nutone bags and certainly not Nutone quality. Shame on Amazon.

I love the dispenser because I can cheat and make my breakfast and lunch shakes to take to work at the same time and use the dispenser to split it in half perfectly!

Great for smoothies!
Very nice looking and very powerful. Blends to very smooth texture!
Easy to clean. Love the spout feature. Red color is beautiful. Does not look cheap.
Would recommend.

Great but has broken in less than one year
Something is now rattling inside and it smells slightly like burning when I blend smoothies but I ignored but now lever on spout just broke off - even at $25 I expected a little bit longer life in the thing. When it worked it was great - plastic can be used poolside and you can lift out pitcher and walk around using dispenser to our drinks - fun for parties :-)

70082 Eureka Vacuum Cleaner Replacement Filter

Expensive little sponge filter
This is the bit of coarse filter material that sits below the bag and above the motor in the Eureka Boss series. I'd suggest you shake it out when you change the filter bag, as this is a lot to charge for what appears to be a penny's worth of filtration material. Thus, the stars are a function of the price, not the product's utility; I would not run the vacuum without one.

World Marketing CG Electric Log Set w Heater

Pleased
It is NOT real but uses about 10 watts without the heater, looks fine and does have a remote control and separate heat, NO sound. The heater has a blower fan that makes a little noise but seems to put out a decent amount of heat for a small electric heater. I have glass screen doors so I really can not comment on the actual effectiveness of the heater.

I moved my gas logs to the back. I place this unit on the old grate which elevates the units remote sensor and controls above the brass base trim of my glass doors. In an emergency I could remove the unit and use gas.

TIP: Looks are dependent on room lighting. The dancing flames are projected out the back. A 24"x24" piece of cardboard upright 3"-4" behind helps the flames appearance. The cardboard could be spay painted any color to match the interior.

UPDATE: This unit has been "ON" (no heat) for at least 4 hours each day and usually closer to 12-16 hours for more than the last 2 weeks. It has given new...

Great purchase for the price!
I was shopping around for alternative method fireplaces & this is the best & cheapest one I found. Just moved into an old victorian with 3 beautiful fireplaces that have been sealed. Since I am renting & not the owner, I wanted a way to enjoy my beautiful fireplace & also get heat from it ( super expensive to run the old heating system). I had a tower ceramic heater, but that looked bad & got in the way. I looked into the gel log sets, the silly looking logs that you put candles in (too expensive to buy the gels all the time) The fireplaces made by the amish(and others like it) were way too big to fit in my small fireplace & 100's of dollars! this one has heat, a remote (battery included :D) & all you have to do is plug it in. The "flames" are made by a rolling device that emits LED light in the shape of flames. When the lights are on it can look kinda hokey- but it looks almost real with the lights off.

Better than gas logs
We have gas logs in our downstairs fireplace, but since we have to use propane bottles we never put gas logs upstairs. We were thinking again of actually putting them in when I came across this heater. It fits right in our fireplace, looks great and keeps our bedroom toasty and warm. It even has a thermostat, so once you set it you don't have to worry about it running constantly. Now we are even thinking of replacing the gas logs downstairs with this wonderful little heater!!!

Keurig K10 White Mini Plus Single Cup Personal Brewer

Perfect
This is a great unit. I like using this keurig. With a knockoff k-cup, I can enjoy the only cup of coffee I'll drink in the morning. No need for a full pot. Coffee comes out too hot to drink right away which is perfect! Who wants to have a warm cup of coffee?

WORST COFFEE EVER from Keurig K10 Mini Plus Single Brewer
QUICK REVIEW: The K10's coffee is too strong and too acidic because the Keurig K10's brewing water is way too hot, and the temperature can't be adjusted (I was told this by Keurig when I called). I want a smooth cup of coffee, and this Keurig K10 gives me coffee that's so strong and so acidic that I want to douse it with milk and sugar to make it palatable, and even then it's hard to swallow.

THE DETAILS: My mistake is that I've gotten used to the great coffee made by my Mr. Coffee brewer with Keurig K-Cup technology. Apparently Mr. Coffee knows the secret to brewing great coffee, and that Mr. Coffee K-Cup brewer makes the best coffee I ever had. If the coffee from the Keurig K10 had been even close to the Mr. Coffee java, then I wouldn't mind. But the K10's coffee is just plain awful. If you think I'm overly fussy about my coffee please know that I've been told by former co-workers that I'd probably drink hot dishwater and not complain.

If you think I'm...

Easier than the bigger models
I bought this for work with points. The other more expensive one broke. I love this one. You don't have any water sitting in a tank, you just pour in water when you make a cup. It makes 3 cup sizes and works like the big one. I have the big one at home, but if it stops working I'm getting this one. It's much easier to use with the same results.

Range Kleen P10124XN Porcelain Universal Drip Pans Set Of 4 Containing 2 Units P101, P102, Black

Fits My Kenmore
I was pleasantly surprised to find that these fit my KENMORE oven perfectly! The items seem high quality and look nice on my stove. I will update later if I find a problem with their durability.

I gave the item 4 stars for their horribly confusing sizing system. It was very hard to find something that would fit my kenmore. So I decided to write a review telling you what it does fit. The actual openings in my stove are 7 3/4 inches for the large and 5 3/4 inches for the small. So if your stove has similar measurements, removable burners and requires only one notch these should work for you too. Also make sure you need 2 large and 2 small since some stoves only have 1 large burner.

Just Received - Fits My Kenmore
I just received these pans today, so I can't rate how well they hold up. However, I have a Kenmore stove, which from what I have read in this thread and about other items, people have said these don't fit. I don't know much about my Kenmore stove other than it's electric, and if the timeline from the prior owner is correct, it's about 6 years old. I bought some silver universal pans from Lowes about 2 years ago to replace the original pans that were terribly stained. The ones from Lowes never did quite fit right. The front 6" burner didn't sit down in the pan correctly, so it would always boil over or the grease would slide to the back of the pan. I just received these today and they fit perfectly. All of the burners sit in them as they should. I measured the openings on the top of the stove. My openings were 8.25" and 6.25". The whole required for the oven vent on my stove was 1.5". If you have a Kenmore with these measurements, these should fit! These look so much...

Perfect fit for my Frigidaire!!!
I've replaced burner pans with generics before, and they usually don't fit right. Many times the larger one will fit with the burner just fine, but the smaller one won't, or vice-versa. This is probably just related to the Kenmore ranges I've used in the past. On my current Frigidaire range, they all fit perfectly. Came in gloss black in excellent condition, no scratches or chips anywhere. Very pleased.

Oliso TG1600 1800 Watts Smart Iron Pro

I Love This Iron
I got this iron last week and was able to spend a full 12 hours (on and off) ironing with it recently. On one occasion during my marathon ironing session, I did have some water come out of the iron, but it was when I overfilled the water tank and was ironing forcefully and rapidly. It didn't leak from the steam vents, it appeared to splash a drop of water from above, and it wasn't a shocker to me. My GE iron used to soak my clothes out of the steam holes, every ironing session, so I know what 'spitting' is, and this iron definitely does not 'spit'.

I bought this model because as a quilter, I wanted an iron with an auto shut off, but I wanted an extended shut off time (the other models turn off a lot more quickly than this one). I love how fast this iron heats up. As for actual ironing--it does a very nice job---no better than any other iron would...every iron is simply a hot metal plate that presses out wrinkles..it's not rocket science...it's all about the bells and...

Oliso's customer service is extremely poor.
I purchased this iron in January, 2010 and by March, 2010, the front scorch guard broke. Oliso never responded to my emails, finally contacted me by telephone weeks later and refused to honor their warranty. I was informed their products don't break, I had to have dropped it (I truly didn't!), they don't repair anything, I can't have it repaired anywhere because no parts are available. My only recourse was to pay them $72 for them to replace my 2 month old iron. Buyer beware--this company is not reputable.

Very dissappointed
I received this iron about a month ago and have yet to use it when it does not leak. I am a quilter/crafter and even though the leaking does not leave brown steaks on the material it does get it quite wet and warps/stretches the fabric so I have to wait until it drys before I can continue to use the fabric. The iron leaks quite a bit of water so ironing the fabric dry takes a while. This is a waste of money for the novelty of having "feet" on the bottom of the iron.

Holmes HAPF623R-UC Blizzard 12-Inch Power Fan with Remote Control

Great Floor Fan - Wonderful features.
I am deployed in Afghanistan, and bought this and had it shipped as much for its ability to circulate air as its ability to cool me down. Great features include remote, option to have the grill spin to really help with air circulation in the sardine can I live in, and sleep modes. Three speeds. Its perfect!

Very quiet
This fan is extremely quiet even at max speed when you compare it some of the other ones. The range is not that great, but if you have it within 4-5 feet from you bed for eg., it works wonderfully. The rotating grill circulates the air really well and it is remote controlled. Living in NYC I need to change the speed quite a few times, the remote control is very handy for that purpose.

Excellent fan for bedroom
We love this fan. We use it in the bedroom window in the summer and it is the quietest one we have ever used. The remote control is a great feature. If we wake up in the night feeling too hot or cold, we can turn it on or off without getting up.

(1) Electrolux EL012B H12 Pleated Hepa Filter

Logan S.
I have checked on this item. It is being aquired directly from the OEM factory. It fits perfectly. Great deal.

Work Well
These work well, although I don't know of any competition with them. As long as you put them in correctly and then check them every few months. If you run the vacuum in particularly dirty areas where you might get loads of dirt on them, you'll then need to change them. (duh). Otherwise, they could last at least 6 months.

Fits Eureka Oxygen canister vac.
It's fits great. I haven't had it long enough to see how it lasts, but I'll probably a few to have on hand.

JEM25DMBB%2DSpacemaker II Series%2DCountertop Microwave Oven %2D Black

Improvements from the older model
I bought my first Spacesaver microwave when I was remodeling my kitchen and wanted something usable but unobtrusive. Alas, after 12 years, the microwave bit the dust. I wanted to get something that would fit where the old one was, and it turns out that GE has a lock on that market - could not find any other microwave that would fit into a 24 inch wide, 13 inch high cubby.

GE makes two versions of the Spacemaker microwave. The JEM25 line (this one) is the more basic model. It offers a fair amount of features, including several that were lacking in my original, such as a turntable. Wattage is 800. Love the one-touch buttons and the add 30 second button - those were my favorite features on the old one, and I'm glad they were retained. Also nice to be able to turn the turntable off when you have big, rectangular dishes. This model comes in black or white.

The PEM31 line is a step up. In addition to black and white, it comes in stainless. It is the same size as the...

Great microwave. Perfect fit.
I searched all over for a microwave to go on a shelf that was made specifically to hold a microwave over my stove. The shelf is only cabinet size deep. I didn't realize how hard that is to find! I didn't want to spend a fortune on removing the shelving and oven hood that goes w/ my cabinetry to purchase a built in microwave. This works perfectly! Looks great and is the perfect depth. Very happy.-*****after a year and 2 months of owning this microwave it has now stopped working. Made horribly. Looks good, but not worth the price to last a year!

DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE!!!
This is my 2nd GE microwave to catch fire and my third to die in a short period of time. I went to Consumer Product Safety Council website and apparently this has been happening to dozens of people for years with no recall of what seems to be a faulty component in a number of their microwaves. Stay away - this could have burned down my house I'm lucky that I was home, was able to put out the fire and that my kids weren't hurt. Unfortunately, I remodeled my kitchen with a custom cabinet that fits only this microwave. They offered to replace it with the same product - why would I want a 4th faulty microwave from them?! I'm screwed but save yourself the danger and the headache!
Just found out there is a class action suit against GE for continuing to market faulty microwaves even though they know there is a fire risk with their components.
