Relatively Quiet, Efficient, and Full of Features: A Demonstration


Easy to Use, Picks Up Lots of Pet Hair
We have a dog and a cat in our home and I have lots of allergies so I am always looking for better ways to pick up after the animals. This vacuum has an attachment specifically designed to pick up pet hair. We had just vacuumed the house yesterday - when I tried this vacuum out today on two different rooms in the house, it picked up a lot more hair. I used the attachment in the areas that the animals are frequently laying down and am impressed at how much more this vacuum picked up.

The attachments are super easy to use, just unplug the hose and add the attachment on. I did find that pushing the vacuum was a bit hard on the carpet, even on the lowest pile setting it took more muscle behind it. Emptying out the bagless container is simple and just requires the touch of a button.

Competent, Light, Some Useful Features for Pets
This vacuum did not exceed my expectations, but it didn't fail miserably, either. I'll just get right to it.

Pros:
1) Light, easy to move around
2) Bagless vacuums are probably best for pet owners, a conclusion you come to quickly once you see how much fur gets sucked up in the see-through canister. You realize that bagged vacuums probably need to have the bags changed far more often that you thought
3) Hand attachment designed for fur removal works amazing well. Ingeniously designed gadget really effective at removing fur off cloth. Might be worth looking for this attachment on other Bissells if you don't like the rest of this model
4) Retractable electric cord is a good idea, long overdue

Cons:
1) Like all bagless vacuums, cleaning the debris bin is a very messy proposition. Be prepared to do some dirty work if you go bagless. You have to be very careful emptying and cleaning it or you may end up with a whole new mess
