BISSELL Trilogy Pet Bagless Upright Vacuum, Majestic Blue, 81M91

This TRULY has better performance than my Dyson!
Of all 3 vacuums I currently own, the Bissell Trilogy Bagless is BY FAR the best performing unit. I am comparing it to both my Dyson Root 8 Cyclone and my lower end Dirt Devil Power Reach Pet. (surprisingly, the Dirt Devil power reach vac at under $100 bucks was my "go to" vacuum as it just worked better than the Dyson overall)

SO is this Bissell as good as the much more expensive Dyson? Can it really stand up? Being the sole cleaner in my household I am going to give you my honest appraisal so please read on!

First of all, the Bissell's sheer suction power visibly removes more dirt and debris with much less work. The Dyson requires going over and over a section as much as 3 or 4 times to do what the Bissell will accomplish in 1 or two passes at the very most. This is quite impressive considering the Dyson costs more than 3 times the price of this Bissell Trilogy. Getting rid of the dirt is very simple with their "easy empty" dirt cup. Parts come off and snap...

I really love this vacuum
I ordered this vacuum from a reward site that we have at work after my old vacuum died. I had previously owned a bissell in our old house that we rented and it worked fine for the size but when we bought our new home it just couldn't keep up with more than double the square footage of the house. I have 3 dogs, 2 of which are heavy shedders and this picks up the hair from everywhere. When I finally got this vacuum, my old one had been dead for about a month so my carpet was in desperate need of some TLC and this was just the thing. It managed to get all the hair up without hoses clogging which had been a big issue with the old vacuum. I did have to empty the container several times however this is probably mostly to do with how long it had been since the floors were done. Since then I only have to empty the container once for the larger rooms and once for all the smaller rooms combined. The attachments make it very easy to get hair off of the furniture though you have to have...

Strong, Flexible and Light
There really isn't much about this product I don't like. I have been using a Dirt Devil equivalent pet hair product that I enjoy using a lot, but there are a coupe of things that make this product just a bit superior. First there is the button that turns the brush on and off which is a must when you are dealing with a surface that will scratch. The button is right next to the power button and is easy to flip on and off. I was a little concerned because the button seemed to stop work on me after I accidentally sucked up something I shouldn't have. It seems fine now and could have something to do with the vacuum not using brushes when it is fully upright. The plus from the experience is removing the brush and the belt was pretty easy.

Fun Gadgets come with this vacuum, and not only do they work as advertised, the soft rubbery edges keeps you from damaging surfaces and the spot remover works. The nicest bonus for this model is it holds all the accessories firmly so they're not...
